Classroom Tip of the Week #5

Don’t procrastinate. Just get your work done and out of the way as soon as possible. You don’t want to remember the day before class that you have an assignment due that you have yet to finish. This happens all too often in college as you get your assignments given to you well in advance. Although this seems to be easier, they tend to creep up on you when you least expect it. The best way to deal with and avoid this is to simply get them out of the way quickly and finish them in advance. I know work can be tedious, but the best way to stay on track and on top of these assignments is to isolate yourself from any distractions you may have. Go to the library, where your friends aren’t, and turn your phone off. This will allow you to focus on your work and get it done in a timely fashion.
