Your eating habits are crucial towards your performance on the pitch. A simple tip to keep you in good position to excel come game time is to have a carb-heavy diet in the few days before a game. Both complex and simple carbs are good, but if possible, always choose the complex carbs, they provide you with 40-50% of your bodies energy requirements.
